Construction of the 400 PENN PLAZA began in 1982, with the first anchor tenants moving in the following year. These dynamic businesses chronicled the beginning of the highest standards of full-service, state-of-the-art, professional environment offered by 400 PENN PLAZA.
The 13-story structure, located at 400 North Pennsylvania Avenue, is the largest commercial office facility in New Mexico outside of Albuquerque. The project encompasses a full city block, has approximately 190,000 square feet of Class A floor space, is served by five Otis elevators: four high-speed and one hydraulic lift. The facility boasts a beautiful atrium area, which is served by Otis escalators. The exterior of the building is finished in beautiful Italian travertine marble and Belgian glass.
Architect/Designer:
The Project Developer, Designer and Architect, Walter Wisznia, was born in Vienna Austria. Wisznia was educated in France and England prior to attending and graduating from Columbia University's School of Architecture in 1948.
